Toto Aquia IV question

My wife and I are choosing between the Toto Aquia IV and the Drake for my tiny bathroom. The Aquia's 14" rough in adapter is a lifesaver, pushing it back two inches.

But I'm kinda worried about the Aquia's famously small water spot and skid mark issues. I've seen hints (like on blogs) that the new Aquia IV (serial ending in "N") might have a larger water spot.

Can anyone confirm if this "larger water spot" is true for the "N" version, and if it actually fixes the cleaning/skid mark problems? Thanks!

Actually, I've heard the same thing about the Aquia IV "N" version having a bigger water spot, and this helps with the skid marks. That said, the Drake is still the option for better flushing overall.

Yeah, models ending in N are said to have a slightly larger water spot compared to earlier versions, which helps reduce skid marks to some extent. While its not as generous as the Drake's water spot, some say theyve improved performance with the newer N version. If space is tight and you need that 14" adapter benefit, the updated Aquia IV should be a solid choice, but the Drake still wins on overall flush power and bowl cleanliness i think

If keeping things super clean with less hassle is a top priority, i'd recommend the Drake for better washdown. It might come down to how much space you can save versus how much cleaning effort you're okay with. Hope that helps!
