Heated seats are on my radar

Greetings! New around here and trying to sort through some pros and cons before we outfit a toilet with heated seat and bidet at my parents' place. I've laid out the dilemma in the Bidet Installation section, and let me tell you, it's not all sunshine and rainbows when hot water lines meet old cabinetry.
