I'm looking at the Costco version of the Toto Washlet C2. The regular C2 with EWater is $250, but Costcos version without EWater is listed at $280. Then, they offer a $30 discount so youre really only saving $20 for a version without EWater. In my moms opinion tho, the Costco version also misses the manual wand cleaning and soft spray options. If I'm already spending $250 I'd rather pay a little more for the full features. Honestly Costco is just inflating the price and calling it a deal $250 should be the regular price for their version.

You got it. It's pretty common for big box stores like Costco to have slightly different versions of products, sometimes even with varying numbers of models or a few features changed up. I learned that years ago, when I was comparing TVs, you really have to look closely at the specs to make sure a deal is truly a deal and that you are getting all the bells and whistles you expect.

I totally get what you're saying! Costco's version doesn't really seem like a great deal at all. I mean, trading away the EWater, soft spray, and that handy manual wand clean for just a bit of savings? That doesn't add up to me.

Are you committed to shopping at Costco, or are you open to checking out the full C2 somewhere else? It might be worth spending a little extra for all those features that make a difference.
