I'm considering getting a toilet with a heated seat and bidet for my parents' new place. Eyeing the Cascade 3000 (sale price $430) but it needs a GFCI outlet, and I was quoted $225 to put that in. Another option is the BioBidet 1000, which would tap into the sink's hot water but I'd need to snake a hose through the vanity. Anyone with firsthand experience?

I went with the Cascade 3000 for my parents and it's been good. Got them an upgrade after I did mine. Anyway, yeah, the GFCI install was annoying upfront, but it's cleaner and way less of a hassle than running hoses around. :) It's gonna be worth it!

How difficult was it to install the GFCI outlet near the toilet, did you have to run new wiring from the panel, or was there already a nearby circuit to tap into?
